Toyota has been testing the Aqua hatchback in India. Why are we saying that it could fit rightly amongst the Indian buyers? Because this Toyota hatchback delivers a mind-blowing mileage of 35.8kmpl, thanks to a strong hybrid setup.

This hatchback comes powered by a 1.5-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine capable of producing 89bhp and 120Nm of torque. It is available in Front-Wheel-Drive and All-Wheel-Drive configurations. The hatchback is longer than typical hatchbacks available in India. It is 4050mm long, 1695mm wide, 1505mm tall and has a 2600mm long wheelbase.

In terms of features, it comes loaded with a 10.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a digital instrument cluster with 4.2-inch LCD screen, Heads-Up Display (HUD), in-built dashcam and even Toyota Safety Sense ADAS suite.

One cool feature that the Aqua comes with is ‘Turn-Tilt Seat’. The driver can rotate his seat towards the door for an easy entry and exit. This is something that we have not seen in any car in India and it could really benefit a lot of buyers.
