The Mahindra BE 6 & XEV 9e took the country by storm when they were launched last year. This was all thanks to their futuristic design, modern feature-list & impressive specs. However, the Tata Harrier EV has come in with many surprises as well. Let’s know more about Tata Harrier EV features and 5 ways this EV beats the Mahindra BE 6 & XEV 9e.
5. HD Rear View Mirror

The Tata Harrier EV has definitely utilised the Range Rover DNA running in the family. It now gets a HD Rear View Mirror, thanks to a camera mounted on the shark-fin antenna. This will help the driver with a clear view, even if the boot is filled to the brim. And, it also supports recording for added safety.
4. Tata Harrier EV features – Transparent Mode

The Harrier EV has been made ready to conquer any type of terrain, even tough rocky trails. To easily navigate around rocks & boulders, this EV gets a Transparent Mode which shows the underbelly of the car. This way, the driver can enjoy rocky trails without worrying about damaging the car.
3. Tata Harrier EV features – Large Touchscreen

We have seen cars boasting massive screens in the past but the unit on the Harrier EV is special. This 14.5-inch Harman unit gets Neo QLED technology, which makes it the first car in the world with this tech. This screen also supports Drive Pay, which is India’s first UPI-based in-car payment interface.
2. Impressive Performance

The Harrier EV is impressive not only on the outside, but also on the inside. It packs impressive performance and figures which can easily make enthusiasts go weak in their knees – a massive 504Nm torque figure and a claimed 0-100kmph timing of 6.3 seconds! For reference, the Mahindra BE 6 & XEV 9e can do a 0-100 sprint in 6.7 seconds & 6.8 seconds respectively (claimed).
1. Quad-Wheel-Drive Technology

The Tata Harrier always missed out on AWD tech, a void which is now filled by the Harrier EV. Tata calls its AWD technology Quad-Wheel-Drive (QWD), which is made possible by two motors, with one mounted on each axle. The front electric motor makes 156bhp while the rear electric motor makes 235bhp.
