Well well, after a long wait, Tata Motors has finally launched the SUV we all were waiting for! Yes, we are talking about the Harrier.ev that has just been launched in India! The Harrier.ev is based on Acti.ev platform and shares design cues with the diesel model. However, it has a lot to offer in terms of features and powertrain. Tata Harrier.ev Launch – Price
Tata Motors has launched the Harrier.ev in India. The SUV comes with 3 broad variants – Adventure, Fearless, Empowered. Apart from this, Tata also has Stealth Edition on offer. Talking about pricing, the Harrier.ev has been launched at Rs 21.49 lakh (ex-showroom). Bookings open on 2nd July.
Design
As mentioned earlier, the Harrier.ev shares its design cues with the diesel model. Upfront you get the same LED headlamps and connected LED DRLs. However, the grille for the EV is closed and there is a design change for the bumpers. The side profile remains unchanged, but gets new design for the alloy wheels. A similar story for the rear profile as well – the rear bumpers are the only tweaked element.
The Harrier EV will be available in 4 colour options – Nainital Nocturne, Empowered Oxide, Pure Grey & Pristine White. It gets an exclusive Stealth Black for the Steath Edition.
Even the interior of the Harrier.ev remains similar to the diesel model. The dashboard layout is exactly the same. However, being an EV and a premium product, Tata Motors is offering a brighter colour theme.

Now, this section is something that will make enthusiasts fall in love with the new Tata SUV! Just like the regular model, the EV version of the Harrier has also been loaded with exciting features. The list includes – Summon Mode, Reverse Assist, Auto Park Assist, Boss Mode, Boost Mode, etc.
The SUV also gets some off-road specific features like – Transparent Mode, Off-road Assist, 6 Terrain Modes (Normal, Sand, Mud Ruts, Snow/Grass, Rock Crawl, Custom), etc.
Rest, it offers a 14.5-inch Touchscreen Infotainment System which boasts Neo QLED screen technology from Samsung, a 10.25-inch Digital Instrument Cluster, 10-speaker JBL Surround Sound with Dolby Atmos, Front Memory Seats, Powered Tailgate, Level-2 ADAS with Low-speed Autonomous Emergency Braking and more!
Specifications
The Harrier.ev has been made available with two battery pack options – a 65kWh battery & a 75kWh battery. The larger battery pack can be charged using a 120kW fast charger from 20-80% in just 25 minutes! The larger battery pack gets a claimed range of 627 km (RWD configuration). Tata is claiming a real-world range of upto 505km with this larger battery pack & RWD configuration.
The larger battery comes in two configurations – RWD & AWD. With smaller battery pack, the single motor produce 235bhp. The larger battery pack with the AWD configuration is capable of producing 391bhp & a whopping 504Nm of peak torque! The mammoth torque comes right from the moment you press the pedal, taking the SUV from 0 to 100kmph in just 6.3 seconds!
